Here are my ten favorite things:
1. God's faithfulness. I always know that He is worthy of my trust and faith.
2. My husband. This man i am married to is the most amazing man. He is going to be a wonderful father.
3. Our babygirl. She is such a wiggle worm that i am afraid she may have learned how to be feisty from someone (who could that be?). Also, she doesn't know how to sit still in church!
4. The sunshine. There is something magical about the way that God smiles his radiant smile down on us and it warms us, physically and emotionally.
5. Dairy Queen Dipped Cones. I think they are my new love language. The one huge indulgence i have allowed myself during this pregnancy is ice cream. Ok...my other indulgence is the way i completely pretend that i don't have a gym membership!
6. My amazing family. I have the best family in the world. I love the way we support each other and are so involved in each other's lives!
7. In my family, the most interesting people are my sister's children. Patrick is going to be 10 years old in 2 weeks. I love that when he received all A's and one B on his report card yesterday, he called his mother and confessed to failing a class. Leah-tortilla (aka Hurricane Leah) is my four year old niece. When she found out i was pregnant, she announced to the world that she is going to be the 'big sister'. Also, she knew that our baby was going to be a 'girl one'. (See, brother, i told you it was going to be a girl one!)
8. My friend Ann Kimmel. She is so convinced that i am amazing and could run the world if someone would just give me a chance. I think that everyone needs that friend. She speaks truth to me when i need it, but otherwise is my biggest fan.
9. Beautiful shoes. I love shoes. I love my shoes. My vain prayer during this pregnancy is that my feet won't grow. Won't you join me in this prayer?
10. Volvo station wagons. The ones with the third row seat. I have given up on having one any time soon, but i know that one day it will be mine. Occasionally i price out the car of my dreams on the volvo website and then email the quote to my husband. Funny...i never get any response from him!
